In Jan 2021, three School of Sports, Health and Leisure (SHL) staff were featured as Tech Experts in the areas of Healthcare and Life Sciences by IPI Singapore. IPI Singapore is a subsidiary of Enterprise Singapore (ESG) which accelerates the innovation process of enterprises through access to its global innovation ecosystem and advisory services. IPI is also an innovation catalyst that creates opportunities for enterprises to grow beyond boundaries.

Dr Alexander Ong, Principal Lecturer, mentors principal investigators and oversees applied industry projects that have been successfully commissioned and are competitively funded by national agencies.

Dr Ian Harris Sujae, Senior Lecturer, sits in the Football Association of Singapore, Medical Committee, and continues to present his research work at the International Society of Biomechanics in Sports (ISBS) conference. He has also published several peer-reviewed journals and is a life member with the Singapore Physical Education Association (SPEA). 

Shigetada Kudo, Senior Lecturer, focuses in the area of data science to improve techniques of athletes and develop products in the area of ergonomics and healthcare.
