After a hiatus of two years due to COVID-19, Oliva Training Kitchen and Restaurant held the F&B Titans Competition for School of Hospitality on 19 Feb 2022. The competition required Diploma in Restaurant & Culinary Operations (DRCO) students to prepare a signature drink and three varieties of finger food (two savory and one sweet). The objective was to promote F&B skills and finesse among DRCO students and to increase awareness of the use of technology to achieve culinary and service excellence. The menu was specifically designed to showcase the culinary and restaurant skills while providing an opportunity for the 16 DRCO students to impress judges with their menu planning skills and professional service.
Chef YC Loh, Chef Flora Lam, Yenny Zein, the lecturers in charge of F&B Titans Competition, shared that the event received compliments on event execution from industry partners and they were impressed with our students' creations.
