"The IIP gave me the invaluable chance to feel what it is like to work away from home and family. It was not as difficult as I had expected. On the contrary, it taught me to be independent. I not only developed new skills but also forged my own network in the industry and made friends from all around the world. These connections have opened up plenty of opportunities. The IIP really opened my eyes — it was an experience I would not exchange for the world. "

"My internship at Capella Singapore was a delightful one! I was able to hone my customer service and problem-solving skills as a Guest Relations and Concierge (Culturist). Even though there were times when things got tough, the good reviews that I received from guests and my passion for serving guests kept me going. I will forever be thankful for this opportunity and experience as the skills I have gained and the knowledge I took away are immeasurable. I could not have asked for a better first internship experience to build a good foundation for my career in the Hospitality industry."
