While Hospitality is the main industry that we support, HSC has expanded industry collaborations into areas such as financial services, retail and healthcare services.

At RP, we see industry projects and collaborations as a powerful bridge between academia and the professional world, demonstrating the direct relevance of SOH’s curriculum to real-world industry demands. By engaging students in authentic challenges faced by companies, such as implementing hotel automation, and developing a food innovation to enhance productivity process development, lecturers can showcase how classroom theories taught in SOH translate into practical applications.

This experiential learning approach not only enhances students' understanding of course material but also equips them with the requisite skills and knowledge to thrive in their chosen industries, fostering a seamless transition from the classroom to the workplace. In addition, certain industry projects and collaborations which allow for integration into curriculum via tasks or projects, allow students to contribute to the industry project and gain firsthand experience in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
