RP-UofG-Secura Cyber Security Lab

The RP-UofG-Secura Cyber Security Lab is a joint cybersecurity facility established by Republic Polytechnic (RP), the University of Glasgow (UofG), University of Glasgow Singapore, and Secura Group Ltd.

We conduct research and development work aligned with Singapore’s Smart Nation objectives, primarily in the following areas:

  • Cybersecurity for Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems

  • Data analytics

  • Industry 4.0, or the Fourth Industrial Revolution, referring to the integration of physical processes, robotics, computing, and networking in manufacturing

Set up to boost Singapore’s cybersecurity capabilities, the RP-UofG-Secura Cyber Security Lab aims to groom local cybersecurity talent.

The collaborative space provides RP students a platform to work alongside the best minds in academia and industry on capstone projects, and acquire before graduation invaluable real-life industry exposure for the challenging and ever-evolving infocomm sector.
