datc

We assist companies in developing innovative analytics applications and decision-support systems, and use machine learning, predictive artificial intelligence and data visualisation to help them uncover business opportunities as well as actionable insights for decision-making.
We also provide consultancy services to help corporations understand their structured and unstructured data (such as text, image and video) from various platforms including ecommerce, social media, online gaming, web and mobile applications, and smart IoT networks.

By collaborating with DATC on analytics projects and services, businesses – including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) – can seize new market opportunities, drive business outcomes and increase revenue growth.

We also collaborate with various research institutions and data providers, like A*STAR’s Business Analytics Technology Centre (BATC), DSO National Labs and Starhub, to harness the latest data analytics technologies, and convert or customise their technologies into proof-of-concept solutions for industry applications.

Social.Me

We are currently conducting research into a niche area of analytics known as Personal Visualisation and Personal Visual Analytics to develop an interactive visual-based personal informatics system called Social.Me to augment self-awareness and improvement from Facebook and Twitter.

Social.Me would allow individuals to rapidly consider and detect clues/factors affecting their behaviours, habits and thoughts through novel data visualisation and manipulation of their personal Facebook and Twitter social media data such as photos and videos.

Social.Me is sponsored by the Ministry of Education’s Translational R&D and Innovation Fund. It is envisioned as a tool to be used by local SMEs to compile in-depth customer profiles, to create better products and services as well as design more effective marketing campaigns.
