Learning through Outdoor Adventure Activities

Outdoor education and adventure learning are becoming increasingly popular in Secondary Schools in Singapore. This course focuses on developing student leaders who are able to assist teachers in planning, organising, and implementing outdoor and adventure learning activities. Students will learn and understand the roles and responsibilities involved in activity leadership.

Students will also have the opportunity to engage in selected challenge course elements. It is strongly encouraged for students to show a willingness to challenge oneself to go beyond one’s comfort zone in response to challenges. At the end of the ApLM, students will conduct an assigned team building activity for his/her members and facilitate the learning.
