Staff Achievements

Our lecturers are passionate professionals in their own fields. They are also recognised as “in-demand” professionals by the industry at an international level.

They stay current in their industry through consultancy work and by keeping themselves exposed to best practices and processes. Such engagements deepen their skills and knowledge and keep them well-connected with the industry players.

Staff Achievements

Senior Lecturer/Manager Lavanath Shanmugam was invited by popular Tamil Cinema (Kollywood) Music Director, D Imman to be his Audio Technical Consultant and Front of House Mix Engineer for the London leg of his world tour at the SSE Arena in Wembley.

The highly anticipated concert was targeted for an audience of 12,500 from 9 to 12 September 2017 with all of Lavanath’s expenses covered by the concert organizer of the Wembley show, Greenhorse Media & Entertainment.

Faeryville

Educator/Lecturer Tzang Merwyn Tong wrote, directed and produced Faeryville, a film that made its World Premiere in Los Angeles to critical acclaim. It won Best Original Story at the Jefferson State FLIXX Festival 2015 in Scott Valley, USA and was in the Official Selection and Closing Night Film of the Brisbane Festival.

In Singapore, Faeryville secured distribution with Filmgarde and had a limited theatrical run that lasted 5 weeks. On 30 May 2015, a special screening was organised by MSF (Ministry of Social and Family Development) and CABCY (Coalition Against Bullying for Children and Youth) to promote the anti-bullying message among youths in Schools. The film is now released worldwide on Amazon and other VOD platforms.
