This dynamic program is designed to catapult you into the forefront of the tech industry with skills that are highly sought after by employers. 

Here’s what makes the DECM stand out: 

  1. Cloud Mastery: Dive into the world of Cloud Computing & IT Infrastructure Management. Learn to design and automate cloud resources, orchestrate large-scale deployments, and manage intricate IT services. Your expertise will span from traditional on-premises setups to modern cloud service providers, covering Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service. 

  2. Automation Expertise: Gain hands-on experience in Platform Systems Scripting & Automation. You’ll craft and oversee Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring seamless updates and deployments with tools like Linux scripting, containers, and micro-services. 

  3. Software Savvy: Develop comprehensive skills in Software Application Development. From gathering requirements to deploying web applications, you’ll become proficient in Agile methodologies, ensuring your projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. 


Aligned with the IMDA’s Skills Framework for the ICT sector, DECM prepares you for roles such as Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps and SysOps Engineer, Network Engineer, and more. Plus, you’ll have the option to advance your education with a bachelor’s degree in IT or specialize further with a related Specialist Diploma. 

 

 

RP has given me many opportunities to excel. I’ve taken part in national competitions, been awarded scholarships, and gone on a sponsored overseas internship. RP has prepared me well to take on future challenges, and this is the reason why I could leverage the knowledge gained at RP in my current degree pursuit. Other than the skills and knowledge gained, I also realised the importance of grit, which has helped me prevail over life’s obstacles to achieve greater heights.
