The SG-Coach Level 2 certification is designed for coaching competitive athletes in their early years of competition. Specialised topics in these courses include the development of annual periodisation plans, training methodologies, test and measurement, sports science applications, social values and principles, and sport analyses.

- Module 1: A systems approach to coaching
- Module 2: Coach as leader
- Module 3: Coach as teacher
- Module 4: Coach as team builder
- Module 5: The coaching process
Who should attend?

Entry Requirement
To be eligible to undertake SGC Theory Level 2 /Intermediate Sport Science course, a coach must:
- Submit a valid Sportsync NROC e-card that reflects “Coach” as status
- Be actively coaching in order to be able to develop a work-based portfolio for this course
- Have at least 2 years of coaching experience
If any of the above requirements are not met, RP and SportSG reserve the right to not issue you a certificate.
Certification
Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Achievement issued by Sport Singapore and Republic Polytechnic upon completing the required e-learning, classroom sessions and a portfolio that documents application of coaching concepts in the workplace.
