Discovering the Building Blocks of Life

Experience what it feels like to work in a Biomedical Science laboratory as you learn more about the building blocks of life. Through this Applied Learning Module (ApLM), you will learn about cells, how they are grown in the laboratory, and how cells from different sources can be differentiated.  Gain hands-on training and discover practical applications of some of the common laboratory techniques in molecular and cell biology such as gel electrophoresis, microscopy, cell culture, and cell staining.

This Applied Learning Module (ApLM) will provide aspiring scientists a taste of our Diploma in Biomedical Science programme.
