Best Packaging Award at Food Innovation Product Award 2018
A team of students and staff from the Diploma in Biotechnology has clinched the Best Packaging Award at the Food Innovation Product Award (FIPA) 2018, organised by the Singapore Food Manufacturers' Association (SFMA). This competition aims to bring together food manufacturers and students from Institutes of Higher Learning to collaborate and create new and exciting food products. Their winning entry “Crispy Cups” was carried out in collaboration with Mr Popiah Pte Ltd.
The team received the award from Ms Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, who graced the Award Ceremony on 19 April 2018 at MAX Atria Singapore Expo.
