Five Diploma in Materials Science (DMTS) students won the Encouragement Award, and one of the team members (Ms Bushra Parveen) won the Good Presenter Award in the Sembcorp Marine’s Green Wave Environmental Care Competition 2020/2021. The team’s submission is titled “Exploration of green composite on acoustic architecture".  This project aims to produce an eco-friendly sound absorption panel using natural fibres that can efficiently reduce noise transmission.
