Development of Plant Disease Detection App

This project aims to identify the kind of diseases a plant may have based on the image captured by the Android device. Monitoring of health of crops is essential to have a good yield. There can be pests which can affect the growth of the crops, thus proper measures should be taken to control pests to prevent losses.

Main Aim of the Project

This project aims to monitor the health of crops to ensure a good yield by training an image classification model to identify different kinds of plant diseases that are more prevalent in farms. It is then implemented onto an Android application which the user can use to identify the disease a plant might have.
