eCommerce Site with Multi-currency Pricing Capability using API

Partner Organisation: M-DAQ Financial Services Pte Ltd

Most eCommerce websites have worldwide sales of products. However, without multiple currency conversion capabilities, buyers face difficulties in making purchases.

For example, they may incur extra fees due to foreign exchange conversion when making credit card payments. This may deter potential buyers from purchasing the product.

Main Aim of the Project:

This project aims to build an eCommerce site that allow users to view the items in multiple currencies. Buyers would be able to make payments based on their selected home currency and eliminate the cost of foreign exchange conversion fees.

Currency Conversion By TianAPI:

By using TianAPI to convert the price into the selected currency, it provides ease for sellers and buyers from different parts of the world to come together and sell or purchase products without any barriers.

St Luke’s CARES

Exceptional Customer Service

St Luke’s ElderCare is a healthcare provider institution that provides integrated service and programmes to the people in need.

Key Challenges:

St Luke’s ElderCare faces challenges in the following areas:

  • Recruiting sufficient tech-savvy volunteers

  • Raising funds

  • Improvement of workflow

Final Solution:

Our project provides a web and cross-platform mobile interface for St Luke’s staff to manage events and donations, and for donors to conveniently sign up as volunteers or make donations.

  • The solution features a smart matching capability that utilises a well-developed algorithm to match the interests of volunteers or donors to events of interest, thereby improving the probability of successful contribution.

  • It also provides the convenience to share the event details to friends via social media to increase the recruitment of more tech-savvy volunteers.

  • St. Luke's workflow for operational efficiency is improved by the IT system since it eliminates the need for human intervention in the form of data entry.
