On 10 May 2023, the School of Engineering and Technology (SEG) at Republic Polytechnic hosted a talk titled "Social Media For Your Career" for final-year students. The event featured our guest speaker, Mr. Jonathan Wan, an executive coach and expert in social media empowerment.

During the talk, Mr. Wan discussed the importance of social media in today's fast-paced world and how it can be used to create a strong personal brand and help connect with potential employers. He shared his experiences in global training project management and discussed various strategies for creating a strong social media presence, including tips for job searches and examples of trending influencers.

The talk aimed to provide students with practical skills and knowledge to help them succeed in their future careers.
