What You Will Learn

Renamed from Diploma in Engineering Design with Business

The Diploma in Engineering (DEG) is a versatile and learner-centred programme that offers students the opportunity to tailor their education according to their interests and career goals. 

The curriculum covers essential topics of engineering, such as engineering design, programming, data analysis, industrial internet of things, and more. Students will have the flexibility to choose one of three majors offered - Innovation & Design, Project Management, or Sustainable Technology. These majors are designed to prepare students for functional roles that are in high demand in the contemporary engineering industry. 

 Students also have the opportunity to pursue a minor in their diploma to diversify their expertise, whether in business, entrepreneurship, or other areas. 

 Upon completion of DEG, graduates will be well-positioned to pursue careers in diverse sectors, including project management, product development, and various roles within the engineering industry. Moreover, driven individuals may opt to enhance their academic pursuits by enrolling in a bachelor's programme in engineering, design, project management, sustainable technology, or a closely related discipline. This decision can open doors to more sophisticated and advanced career prospects. 

I’ve been given many opportunities to grow and discover myself. The unique programme has helped me uncover my strengths and passion, and has constantly challenged me to go beyond my comfort zone to learn, lead, and experience holistically. I am grateful for the support that has put me on track to excel.
