What You Will Learn

Stay flexible and keep your options open as you explore infinite possibilities in Engineering.

The first semester of your first year in SEG opens your eyes to the amazing potential in engineering, when you get on board the Common Engineering Programme. Sample our various diploma offerings and get a clear overview of your options for future education. You are bound to find the course that best suits you.

Explore and gain a solid foundation in engineering. With essential skills and knowledge gained, you will be able to make an informed choice on the engineering programme to embark on!

Note: Students enrolled in RP's Common Programmes enjoy the flexibility of up to one year to decide on a specific diploma. This will allow you to choose a more suitable and fulfilling course after exploring the different fields. You can choose the following options:

Choose a Diploma

You can choose a diploma directly after Semester 1.

Choose a Cluster

Still undecided? You can choose a cluster - Engineering Management or Engineering - after Semester 1 which will allow you more time to explore your options. You can then choose your diploma later after Semester 2.

After Semester 2

Choose one of the following diplomas in the Engineering Management Cluster:

Through CEP, I was exposed to various engineering disciplines which led me to make a well-informed choice on which SEG diploma I should pursue.
