School of Hospitality (SOH)

Living in this new normal, the tourism industry is rapidly evolving. Expectations of tourists are changing and the tourism sector needs talent who are digital-first and design-savvy to provide bespoke, hybrid experiences.

As RP School of Hospitality (SOH) launches the Diploma in Tourism Management with Technology (DTMT), we signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Association of Singapore Attractions, GlobalTix, Hiverlab,  Journeys Pte Ltd  and Woopa Travels on 10 Jan 2023.

SOH’s Director Mr. Fu Chuan Chong says, “We are delighted to launch the DTMT with the support of our esteemed industry partners from the tourism and travel, technology and sustainability sectors. Our partnership is a testament of how we ensure the currency and relevance of our curriculum and enhance the students’ learning experience. We are confident that this will help us to build a stream of future-ready tourism professionals.”

Students will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from industry experts through guest lectures, projects and attachments. In addition, we will work with our partners to explore and collaborate on relevant opportunities for adopting technology and sustainability for the tourism industry.
