"When I received the email about the SJInnovation Challenge (SJIC), I saw it as the perfect chance to hone my entrepreneurial skills and gain more exposure," says SOI student Leong Jun Hao. "I reached out to my friends and was glad that they were equally keen on participating."

Team notsure — comprising Bryan Stevenson Gunawan, Davis Chow, Gan Zhen Kang, and Jun Hao — recently achieved 2nd Runner-Up at SJIC 2025 and was the ONLY polytechnic team to reach the finals!

Competing alongside teams from junior colleges, they showcased ParentBridge, a parent-student learning dashboard powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). This innovative solution enables students to track their learning progress, recommends effective study methods, and fosters a supportive learning environment.

“RP’s education supported us in many ways," Bryan reflects. "The Innovation and Practice module provided valuable experience in developing solutions for real-world challenges, delivering pitches effectively, and responding to questions confidently on the spot."

Congratulations to Team notsure! This achievement highlights how RP nurtures purposeful game-changers ready to excel on any stage.
