Liu Zhixin (left) is a bright example of consistency and competency. As a student, he went beyond excelling in his academics. He represented Republic Polytechnic in various competitions, including WorldSkills Singapore where he won a Medallion for Excellence in Web Technologies. In his final semester, he pushed geographical boundaries and embarked on an overseas internship at the National Institute of Technology Gifu College in Japan. Zhixin's tireless efforts culminated in his well-deserved achievement of the prestigious Tay Eng Soon Gold Medal at the Graduation Ceremony of 2023.

Darren Liu Wen Jun (second from the left) personifies the vital skills and qualities that extend beyond IT as he constantly pushes the confines of his learning beyond classrooms. He reflects on his past three years at RP as "nothing less than exciting and rewarding," citing the crucial problem-solving skills he has developed and frequently applies in all his deliverables, projects, and even in his daily life. Darren graduated with a Diploma in Financial Technology (DFT) with Merit. He is a recipient of the PayPal Gold Medal Award.

Kenneth (third from left) is grateful for the overseas internship at the National Institute of Technology, Gifu College, Japan, where he worked on a project with Professor Koji Tajima to develop an AI for the board game NovaLuna. This 4-month internship was the highlight of his RP journey where he graduated with the Diploma in Digital Design & Development. Kenneth is a recipient of the IMDA Gold Medal Award and the Module Prize in AI and Machine Learning.

Tan Ying Teng (right) from the Diploma in Business Information Systems (DBIS) stands as a triumphant recipient of three distinguished awards: the IMDA Gold Medal Award, the Lee Kuan Yew Award for Mathematics and Science, and the Ngee Ann Kongsi Award for the Most Distinguished Graduate of the Year (Academic). With an unwavering presence on the Director's Roll of Honour for five consecutive semesters and a vibrant role as a student leader, Ying Teng capped her contributions at the School of Infocomm with an enchanting Graduates' Night. Beyond her exceptional academic prowess, she made a mark outside the classroom as well, as we had the privilege of witnessing her engaging presence at SG Perspectives 2022: Dialogue with Dr Tan See Leng, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry.

Congratulations to our scholars! We wish you all the best in your future endeavours, and we await your return to RP for alumni engagement and lifelong learning opportunities.
