Chelson Chong, a Diploma in Infocomm Security alumnus from the class of 2019, scored a record-breaking 92% in the 2020 Certified Ethical Hacker (Master) Challenge, besting all other participants from the United States, Russia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Bahamas, and Egypt.
The Certified Ethical Hacker Challenge is a six-hour, cloud-based hacking challenge designed to test the hands-on capability of ethical hackers all over the world.
Chelson earned the Certified Ethical Hacker (Master) title while completing his internship in a local cyber security company. A mainstay in the director’s roll of honour, Chelson was also a consistent scholarship recipient in RP. He is set to study his degree - Bachelor in Computer Engineering, at Nanyang Technological University upon completion of his National Service.
