PolyFintech Hackathon 2021
SOI has won a total of two awards in the Polyfintech Hackathon 2021 Finals held on 24 July 2021. As the category winner, Team Mario will also be moving on to the Grand Finals, where category champions will fight for the title of Grand Champion. The Grand Finals will be held in November at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2021.

The Polyfintech Hackathon is a competition held annually between all five polytechnics where students develop Fintech prototypes using open APIs from the industry to address real world problem statements.
This year’s Polyfintech Hackathon 2021 was hosted by Nanyang Polytechnic. This event is strongly supported from Monetary Authority of Singapore and Association of Banks Singapore with the industry sponsors including NETS, TRIBE, BlockChain Association of Singapore, Singapore Fintech Association, PayPal, Prudential, and TIBCO.
