RP Teams Shine at PolyFintech 100 API Hackathon 2024

Republic Polytechnic made a remarkable impact at the PolyFintech 100 API Hackathon 2024, where our students competed against top teams from five polytechnics in categories like Decentralised Finance, Augmented Reality, RegTech, InsureTech, and Sustainability in Eldercare. The results were truly outstanding!

Team Baymax 4.0 — Sim Sheng Hao, Adriel Low, Matthew Ong Yi Cong, and Ng Kai Jie Caleb,  guided by their lecturer Ms Magdalene Lim, secured the runner-up position in the RegTech category. Meanwhile, Team Generational Guardians, made up of Tan Siang Yu, Yeo Rui Kang Josh, and Cheryl Cheong Kai En, coached by Mr Frankie Cha, earned a merit award in the Sustainability in Eldercare category.
