From 29 March 2023 to 1 April 2023, The WorldSkills Singapore (WSS) 2023 was held with competition venues distributed across the five Polytechnics. SOH students achieved remarkable success in the competition, attaining four medals, including one gold, two silver, and one medallion for excellence in the Restaurant Service and Cooking Skill Areas. We are delighted with these results and not forgetting the hard work of our coaches, Loh Yee Chiang, Yenny Zein, Russel Charles, and Flora Lam, for their invaluable support and guidance.

The WorldSkills Singapore competition is a biennial event that represents the highest level of vocational excellence in skills trades and technologies training. Gold and silver medalists may have the opportunity to represent Singapore at the WorldSkills ASEAN and WorldSkills International competitions.
