Games Design and Programming

Ever played a poorly designed game and thought your students could do better? Let your students learn more about Game Design by signing them up for this Applied Learning Module (ApLM) which will introduce them to the fundamentals of games design and programming.

Students will also interact with a virtual robot during the course, and encounter the various challenges game developers face when creating a full-fledged game from scratch.

Through this course, students will:

  • Learn the fundamental principles and life cycle of game design and development
  • Design and develop their own game
  • Exercise their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in programming, honing them in the process
GDP

This module will be an opportunity for interested students to develop programming skills and have a good taster of our School of Infocomm diploma programmes.”
