Funded by OCBC, CHIKIT Expresso and CHIKIT Amego were created for MINDS School to aid people with intellectual disabilities (PwID) and their caregivers. The two iterations are solutions consisting of a wearable tracking device with a simplified interface and a visual emotion function which allows PwIDs to communicate their emotions. This tracking device is then linked to a home device that assists caregivers in monitoring and tracking them remotely. Binding the two products together is a mobile application which allows users to not only track and monitor the PwID, but also to set reminders or notifications for other caregivers.

DriveRideBuddy

DriveRideBuddy is driven to simplify the process of right-fitting suitable, legitimate automotive workshops with motorists. Through an online matching platform, motorist and vendors will enjoy convenient access to a wide database to select matching jobs or services. This platform allows businesses to manage appointment with customers and also monitors the workshop technician’s daily work routine.

Drone Management System

The Drone Management System was created to bring about long-haul autonomous delivery service. The main objective is to aid supply chain companies in managing and controlling multiple drones on the planned drone-corridor flightpath around Singapore. The concept plan also includes drone base facilities located strategically at intervals along the flightpath, which integrates both drone and human deliveries, ensuring an inclusive system for human users.

Easyclaims is a mid-level claims system for both employee and HR departments in SMEs. The main objective is to improve the experience of making claims, streamlining and universalising the claims process for both HR and employees. By applying UX design methods, the refreshed interfaces are user-centric and leverages on algorithms to automate, organise and process the data more efficiently.

KidZania Singapore Mobile App

KidZania Singapore Mobile App focused on creating a user-centric experience for first-time and regular visitors. KidZania Singapore’s objective is to address the navigation issues faced by their visitors, specifically for the first-timers. This solution enhances way-finding through the help of GPS, and included useful information such as crowd-control, number of people queueing and information on various play spaces to allow parents to select age-appropriate activities for their child. In addition, parents can track their child’s movement while waiting in the café or parents’ zone.

Science Centre Singapore's Curiosity Shop

The main objective of this project is to improve the shopping experience of the Singapore Science Centre’s Curiosity Shop. The overall space is redefined to achieve consistent branding and interactive science installations are located around the shop to engage the patrons. A self-payment kiosk is proposed in a bid to cope with the high volume of purchases during peak periods.

Timboon Resort

This project provides outdoor wayfinding solutions for an upcoming, modern eco-resort in Timboon, Melbourne Australia. The proposed solution includes a guestbook mobile application and several outdoor installations. The main objective was to provide an enriching on-boarding experience to contrast against its serene surroundings. Transiting from day to night, clear-glass signage and installations around the premises lit up vibrantly in bright colours against the darkness to provide guests with new spatial sensations. The mobile application serves as a one-stop platform for all the guest’s needs during their stay, from in-house self-services to the hassle-free auto-itinerary planner.

Venture SG

Venture SG is a gamified social networking platform that allows tourists and travellers to discover and communicate with local people of similar interest when visiting Singapore. This mobile platform matches people anonymously either through locale proximity or pre-trip agreement. It also allows people to discover more about Singapore in a unique way - by locating and collecting GEM stamps.
