The Amazing Wonders of Chemistry

Chemistry is a big part of your everyday life. You find chemistry in foods, the air, cleaning chemicals, your emotions, and literally every object you can see or touch. This Applied Learning Module (ApLM) allows students to explore the wonders of chemistry that leads to various applications.

Students will gain hands-on experience to carry out interesting chemistry experiments such as making polymer putty and liquid crystals, formulating their own personal care products and exploring how nanotechnology can be applied in smart applications. This programme will captivate the curiosity and encourage the creativity of students as they experience planning and designing their own experiments and applying the learning to real life.

This ApLM will also provide aspiring chemists, a taste of our Diploma in Applied Chemistry  programme.
