RP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) on 4 August 2017, strengthening the partnership between RP and ERAU Asia.

The MOU creates exciting opportunities for RP and ERAU to collaborate on joint-research initiatives in important aspects of aviation such as green technology and airline and airport optimisation and composite usage. It also establishes articulation pathways enabling RP graduates to enrol with advanced standing in degree programmes offered by ERAU.

ERAU is the largest fully accredited university system in the world which specialises in aviation and aerospace. Over the past six years, ERAU has grown significantly with its Asia Campus in Singapore which currently offers two undergraduate degrees.

Many of RP aerospace students are currently enrolled in the 2 degree programmes; the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration.

RP School of Engineering graduates, Muhammad Hazwan from Diploma in Civil Aviation and Ros Shazwani from Diploma in Aerospace Avionics also delivered speeches at the event, sharing their personal journeys from both their RP and ERAU days. Both of them are currently final year students in ERAU Asia.
