Students from RP Diploma in Green Building and Energy Management (DGEM) emerged Second Runner-up in the Topographic Amazing Race at the latest run of the International Green Building Conference (IGBC).

Focusing on the current student edition theme, “Envisioning Smart Retail Living”, the team of DGEM students put their knowledge into good use at the various game stations along Orchard Road, where they were tested on how their daily activities can have an impact on environmental sustainability. Each member of the team walked away with a Canon printer and a “dinner date” with BCA’s senior management.

Organised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) as part of the Singapore Green Building Week (SGBW), IGBC played host to international green building experts, policymakers, academics, built environment practitioners, tenants, and end-users on 22 July 2017. The event is for a congregation of ideas, collaboration, partnership, and learning, to achieve a shared vision of a greener planet through the green building movement.
