Five students from Diploma in Engineering Design with Business emerged as one of the Top 5 finalists in the PUB Big Splash 3.0 challenge on "20 years of NEWater".

During the challenge, these students focused on the NEWater Mode and packaging, aiming to develop safe, eco-friendly, cost-efficient, and practical packaging solutions for NEWater distribution within the community. They showcased their creativity and expertise by submitting prototypes, a comprehensive report on the proposed distribution mode, and a detailed description of the proposed material/water packaging. These deliverables covered critical aspects such as water quality control, operational feasibility, scalability, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
